The TSRTC Joint Acion Committee (JAC) said they would further intensify the protests in the coming days.
On Saturday, JAC along with representatives of various opposition political parties are planning to protest at Bus Bhavan, RTC cross roads. In support of the strike, the JAC members will also continue to sport black badges. JAC Convenor Ashwathama Reddy said that they are getting support from various organisations. “RTC
employees from Kerala and Karnataka are also supporting us to safeguard public transportation. Strike with silent protests will continue in all districts,” he said.
JAC will hold a meeting on Saturday to discuss future plans. The APSTRC employees have decided to call for a transport bandh in Andhra Pradesh,” said Thomas Reddy, General Secretary of Telangana Mazdoor Union.
