TSRTC operates 6200 buses on Monday

The TSRTC officials said that by 5 pm on Monday, they had managed to operate 6200 buses across the State.

Different category of buses, including Palle Velugu, Express, Deluxe and Super Luxury buses were operated by the TSRTC management.

Officials claimed that 6209 buses were operated from Adilabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Nizamabad, Warangal, Mahabubnagar, Medak,



Nalgonda, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad and Secunderabad regions.

Among the 6209 buses, 4309 buses were TSRTC owned and 1900 were hired buses. These buses were operated by 4309 temporary drivers and 6209 private conductors. Tickets were issued using ticket issuing machines in 5033 buses and conventionally in 692 buses, a press release said.
