Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is introducing mini-AC buses to serve the commuters in Hyderabad, Nizamabad and Warangal cities of the state, a senior official said today.

The mini-AC buses, said to be first such initiative in the country, are expected to be introduced from October 11 (Vijayadasami day) festival, he said.

“A survey was done earlier and it was decided to introduce mini-AC Buses, for



the first time in the country, and also to expand the services of TSRTC to serve many more commuters,” TSRTC Managing director G V Ramana Rao said at a event here, according to an official release.

The mini-AC buses will serve the commuters in Hyderabad, Nizamabad and Warangal, he said.He stated an App will be developed which can be downloaded on cell phones by the commuters who can book tickets.Based on commuter response, these services will be extended to other districts also, he added.
