Two BHK beneficiaries stage protest in Nagarkurnool

It has been nearly 10 months since the Congress government came to power but the double bedroom housing beneficiaries, who were allotted houses in the past, are yet to occupy them.

Vexed with the government’s apathy, the beneficiaries staged a protest in front of the Collectorate complex here on Friday and



demanded the government to hand over the houses.

The past government had constructed 240 double bedroom houses and the beneficiaries were allotted houses through a lucky draw. However, in the guise of taking up minor balance works, officials in the district were not permitting the beneficiaries to occupy the houses.
