Two crest gates of Singur opened as inflows increase overnight

Sangareddy: The inflows to the Singur reservoir increased to 19,500 cusecs overnight from 8,000 cusecs last night.

The irrigation authorities lifted two crest gates of the project and let 22, 254 cusecs of water flow down to



riverstream. TS Genco also operated the power plant continuously. Meanwhile, the Nizam Sagar, Manjeera Dam and Ghanpur projects were overflowing due to heavy inflows into the Manjeera River.
