Two gates of Osman Sagar lifted

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) has lifted two gates of Osman Sagar late on Thursday. The reservoir is receiving 350 cusecs of inflow from upstream areas and the gates were opened to release excess water into the Musi River.
On Friday, the water level at the reservoir
was recorded at 1,789.85 feet against the FTLof 1,790 feet. The reservoir capacity is 3.90 TMC and the water level was 3.86TMC. Meanwhile, HimayatSagar is receiving 400 cusecs of inflow and water is being released into Musi River through the gate that was lifted recently.
