Two injured in stampede during Pushpa 2 premiere

At least two persons sustained injuries during a stampede that took place at a theatre at RTC crossroads in Hyderabad during the premier show of Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa -2 on Wednesday night.

The actor came to the Sandhya theatre at RTC cross roads to view the screening of the movie. As soon as the actor entered the theatre and greeted the fans, all hell broke loose.

Fans who had assembled to watch the premier show of the movie tried to go near the actor.



The police who were already deployed at the place swung into action and resorted to a mild lathicharge to disperse the crowd.

In the melee, a woman and boy fell down and got injured. The police pulled the injured and shifted them to a safer area where they were administered first aid and shifted to hospital.

The police cordoned the area and closed the gates of the theatre. More police reinforcements were rushed to the spot anticipating trouble at the theatre.
