Hyderabad: Two more persons have tested positive for Covid-19 in Hyderabad on Saturday, taking the overall number of positive cases to 21 in Telangana.
A 33-year-old male working on cruise ship ‘MSC Bellissima’ with a travel history to Dubai tested positive for the novel coronavirus, while the second person to test positive was a 35-year-old male, a relative (primary contact) of another Covid-19 positive patient (14th positive case).
The
14th positive case had travelled from Dubai to Hyderabad on March 14. Later, he developed signs and symptoms and was admitted to Gandhi Hospital on March 17. He tested positive on March 19. The contacts were traced and were put under home quarantine. It turned out that one of the primary contacts of the positive patient also got infected and tested positive on Saturday.
Both the positive cases are admitted to Government hospitals and are reportedly in stable condition.
