UMAC to hold public meeting against NRC and CAA in Nizamabad today

Nizamabad: United Muslim Action Committee (UMAC) is going to conduct a public meeting against NRC and CAA on Friday at Eidgah grounds, Nizamabad. AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi, TRS leaders and R&B Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Nizamabad Urban MLA Bigala Ganesh Gupta and minority leaders are expected to participate in the meeting.

Ansari, general secretary Muniruddin Muqtar, told newsmen that the NPR and NRC were against not only Muslims, but also other downtrodden communities. He said that National Population Register (NPR) was the first stage of National Register of Citizens (NRC); while collecting national population details people could face problems because of the guidelines.
