Unable to bear harassment for school fee, girl dies by suicide in Hyderabad

A teenaged girl, who was upset over alleged harassment and pressure from her principal to pay her term school fee, attempted to die by suicide in Medchal. The 14-year-old child, who is studying Class X at Sri Chaitanya School in Medchal Town, was being put to immense pressure to clear her pending fee dues by the school principal and



staff.

As per available information, the student who was unable to bear the harassment, attempted to die by suicide by hanging. She was immediately shifted to a nearby private hospital where she is being treated. Her condition is said to be stable. Based on the complaint from the girl’s mother, the Medchal police took up investigation.
