Underground garbage bins to be installed at Khairtabad & Jubilee Hills

GHMC in coordination with the CSR initiatives of Ramky Enviro Engineers Limited (REEL) and Kamineni Hospitals will make underground garbage bins, a reality. It would assure better management of waste and improve the ambience in the city. On a pilot basis the bins will be installed at two points of



Khairtabad and Jubilee Hills Circles in about three months time.

The advantages of underground dustbins include improvement of the aesthetics of the city, no offensive odour and making it difficult for rodents and stray animals to reach the piled-up garbage.
