Union Minister for Tourism and Culture G. Kishan Reddy has revealed that the number of tourists coming from abroad has increased due to the development of the tourism sector in the country. Speaking at a conference held in Hyderabad to promote investment in the tourism sector in the South and North Eastern States,
Mr Kishan Reddy explained that all measures will be taken to attract investment in the tourism sector. He said public and private partnership will be established to
promote the tourism sector and world class facilities will be set up at tourism destinations across the country. Kishan Reddy said these measures will create employment opportunities at a large scale. He further said a global investment summit will be held soon to develop the domestic tourism sector.
Officials from the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Assam and Meghalaya participated.
