Upset over her marriage, newly wed woman ends life in Hyderabad

A newlywed woman who was upset over her marriage, died, allegedly by suicide, in her house at Cherlapally in Kushaiguda on Wednesday.

According to the police, Sailaja (22), a lab technician working in a hospital in Uppal was married to her cousin Sathish (26), a salesman from Sangareddy district at Warangal district on February



17. They came to her parents’ house in EC Nagar on Tuesday.

It is suspected that Sailaja hanged herself from the ceiling fan in her bedroom after 9am, when her husband left to work. Relatives told the police that Sailaja was reluctant for the marriage.
