US Consul General lauds TS irrigation plans

The US Consul General Katherine B Hadda was all praise for the rapid strides being made by Telangana State on the irrigation front, irrigation officials said.

Katherine, in a tweet, said she enjoyed discussing irrigation plans of the State with Irrigation Minister T Harish



Rao. She interacted with Rao two days ago, when the Minister apprised her of the importance of Kaleshwaram Lift Irigation Project intended to irrigate the upland areas in the State. The project will be serving the designed ayacut partially from December next.
