Vaccinations put on hold till Monday

There will be no Covid-19 vaccination on Saturday and Sunday, the state health department on Friday night. Director of Health Services Dr.G.Srinivasa Rao said the decision was taken following changes made by the Centre in the interval between first and second dose of Covishield vaccine to 12-16



weeks.

Changes were made in the Cowin portal such that it will be possible to administer the second dose only after a minimum of 12 weeks, he said. 

There was no word on those seeking the second dose of Covaxin.
