VC APPOINTS PANEL TO ELICIT HCU STUDENTS DEMANDS

Vice-Chancellor of University of Hyderabad Podile Appa Rao has constituted a seven-member committee headed by Prof. Kamaiah to go into the disturbances in the university.

            According to informed sources, Prof. Kamaiah Committee would hold inquiries about



the agitation by the students and their demands and would submit a report to the Vice-Chancellor.

            It may be mentioned here that the students of the University of Hyderabad were on warpath ever since the Rohit Vemula, a research scholar, had committed suicide by hanging in one the University hostels recently.
