Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has decided to install "TSRTC Radio" in all of its buses as part of its efforts to connect with passengers and build their trust in its services.
Nine ordinary and metro buses in Hyderabad have had the TSRTC radio installed as a pilot project following extensive testing.
On Saturday, TSRTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar launched the unique radio service's pilot project at Bus Bhavan. Later, the radio's performance was also
evaluated by high-ranking RTC officials.
Sajjanar stated, "The TSRTC radio will make people aware of the importance of human relations and talk about ethical issues that enhance moral values, in addition to providing entertainment through songs."
Buses traveling on Uppal-Secunderabad, Dilsukhnagar-Secunderabad, Gachibowli-Mehidipatnam, Secunderabad-Patancheru, Kukatpally-Shankarpally, Kondapur-Secunderabad, Koti-Patancheru, and Ibrahimpatnam-JBS currently have the RTC radio installed.
