Hyderabad: State Advisor (Irrigation) R Vidyasagar Rao continues to remain in a critical condition and on ventilator support at Continental Hospitals, doctors on Monday said.
In the last 24 hours, the vital signs of Vidyasagar Rao, including body temperature, pulse rate, blood pressure and respiratory rate, have shown signs of stability, the hospital doctors said.

However, Vidyasagar Rao continues to remain critical and on assisted respiratory
support, doctors said.
The irrigation expert is battling terminal bladder cancer, which, according to oncologists, has spread to other parts of his body, including his lungs and brain.
Last April, Vidyasagar Rao underwent surgery and chemotherapy for bladder cancer in the United States. His condition, however, relapsed and he was admitted to the Continental Hospital in a critical condition recently.
Doctors said that they are monitoring his condition round the clock.
