Medak: Former MP and Congress leader Vijayashanti called upon people to oust the K. Chandrashekar Rao government and ‘cleanse’ Telangana state. Chandrashekar Rao had failed on all fronts and had cheated people with false promises, she alleged.

There is an urgent need to clean the state by removing the corrupt BRS government, she said during a campaign meeting in support of Medak party candidate Mynampally Rohit Rao. Malkajgiri MLA Mynampally Hanumanth Rao and Rohit Rao spoke a the meeting.

Vijayashanti said



that Chandrashekar Rao had targeted land assigned to poor families from the SC and ST communities and had encroached on prime land parcels across the state. By spending crores of rupees, Chandrashekar Rao wanted to win the Assembly elections, she said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah and BJP president J.P. Nadda had all pointed out the corruption in the BRS government during their visits to Telangana state but had failed to initiate action, she said.
