A company event to celebrate its 25th anniversary became the cause of its CEO Sanjay Shah’s death at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The accident occurred on Thursday night, Abdullapurmet police said on Friday. According to inspector M. Manmohan, Vistex Asia-Pacific founder CEO Sanjay Shah had organised a celebration to mark the 25th anniversary of his company at the Ramoji Film City on January 18 and 19. Vistex is a Hyderabad-based company, which offers revenue management solutions and services to its clients. It was founded in 1999.

warning and the stage fell on the people below,” the inspector said.
The structure directly fell on Shah and the company’s president Vishwanath Raju Datla. While Shah suffered multiple grievous injuries, Vishwanath Raj suffered a severe head injury.
Immediately, Shah was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Due to the severity of the injuries, Sanjay succumbed to death during the early hours of Friday. The company’s president Vishwanath Raju Datla is reported to be in a critical condition. Based on a complaint from the company’s executive director Janakiram, the Abdullapurmet police booked a case against Usha Kiran Events, the event management body of Ramoji Film City, and started an investigation.
