Voters can get enrolled with this mobile app My GHMC

The option of getting oneself enrolled on the voter list will now be available on a mobile app — My GHMC. This was announced by B Janardhan Reddy, GHMC commissioner, on Monday.

“People can register on to the electoral rolls through this app,” Reddy said. Another official said the service will be made operational within the next 10 days.

Chief electoral officer of Telangana, Rajath Kumar said any individual who has completed



18 years as on January 1, 2018, can enrol. He was speaking at the voter registration campaign in Begumpet, jointly launched by him and Reddy.

Citizens can also call toll free number 1950 and seek help with the enrolment process or issues such as change of name and address.

“Monday onwards boothlevel officers will visit every household to check and verify voter details,” said Kumar.
