Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, who visited the e-Learning Centre at the C.R. Rao Advanced Institute of Mathematics, expressed happiness over the institute developing a world class centre for digital learning studies to train people in emerging technologies.

Mr. Naidu, in a Facebook post after visiting the centre here on Thursday, said that he was delighted to have visited the e-Learning Centre at the University of Hyderabad

(UoH).

Technological institutes such as these play a crucial role in improving the day-to-day lives of people in this technology-dependent world and also provide employment and self-employment opportunities for the youth, especially those who are living in rural areas.

He also said that digital classes bridge the infrastructural deficit in the education sector like lack of quality teachers and modern classrooms.
