Walmart India has opened another Cash and Carry store in Nizamabad on Thursday. Company President and chief executive officer Krish Iyer had inaugurated the branch here. Speaking on the occasion, Iyer said that with this the number of company's outlets has increased to 26 across the country and third one in the State. The store spans more than 50,000
square feet and employs 2,000 people, directly and indirectly, he said.
The company plans to open a store in Warangal later this year. This will increase the number of Walmart stores in the state to four. The company opened its second store in Karimnagar four months ago.
