Waqf Board issues notification for elections

State Waqf Board has issued a notification for elections. To get the selection in five categories like MPs, MLAs, MLCs, Mutawalli, Bar council and President Masjid Committee the last date for submission of nominations are 17th February. The withdrawal of nomination date is 18th February. The scrutiny of papers will be done on Feb 19. The Board election process will be completed by 28th



February. 

TRS is trying to get the representation in the Waqf Board. Chief Minister himself will decide for the post of President of Waqf Board. Waqf Board president Mohd. Saleem may have a chance to get the third term. When a question asked about likely to get the president post, he told that what responsibility will be given he is ready.
