Ward committee list released by GHMC

A total of 114 ward committee members and 276 area sabha representatives were unanimously nominated at a general body meeting held at Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation head office on Thursday.

The ward committee members and area sabha members list was not finalised for a long time, due to differences of opinion. Earlier a general body meeting



which was exclusively held to finalise the nominate the members was also adjourned as the politicians failed to come to a conclusion regarding the names that should be included in the ward member and area sabha representatives list.

Each GHMC ward can have 8 to 10 area sabha members based on their population.
