Water Board adds another e-wallet PayTm

Now, citizens will be able be pay their monthly water bills through PayTm.This is in addition to online bill payments, apart from other ways.

“The HMWS&SB has facilitated payment of water bills through PayTm digital payments platform. For this, no transaction charges will be levied. The consumer has to log in to the hyderabadwater.gov.in website and select Pay Your Bill Online by clicking on



the PayTm payment link,” reads a press note released by water board on Monday. The water board has facilitated payment of water bills through Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) platform. No transaction charges will be levied to customers .

BBPS is a Reserve Bank of India (RBI) conceptualized system driven by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).
