Water board sets up 'Quick Response Teams'

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) has set up 12 `Quick Response Teams (QRTs)' for maintenance of roads to motorable conditions. These QRTs will immediately attend the road restoration works to avoid inconvenience to the road users.They will carry road material along with a vehicle and if any road not restored properly after laying of pipelines works and then they



will attend the restoration works, mainly in GHMC peripheral circles.

HMWS&SB managing director, M Dana Kishore, reviewing ongoing works on Wednesday, asked the officials to ensure that all road cuttings be restored duly refilling the trenches where works regarding construction of reservoirs and laying inlet and outlet pipelines were completed.
