The State government is committed to discussing any issue and for any number of days in the State Legislature, Finance Minister Etela Rajender said on Monday.
“When we requested the Congress government in undivided AP to extend the session for two more days, we were bulldozed and our request was turned down. But now our government is ready to discuss any issue,” he said while responding to MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi’s remarks on the number of days the session would be conducted.
When TRS MLA V Srinivas Goud, during Question
Hour, sought to know whether the State government was providing risk allowance to the traffic police, Owaisi intervened stating that he wanted to raise a point of order. He said the decisions taken during Business Advisory Committee (BAC) were not allowed. “While we speak on an issue during Question Hour, our mike is cut off whereas ruling party members are allowed to speak for a long time,” he said.
“What we decided during BAC meeting should be implemented equally or else please call for a BAC meeting,” he said.
