Asked as to how much they earn from selling tea, the elderly woman told the Congress leader that she was getting a monthly pension too, but these did not suffice to enable her to meet the family requirements.
Rahul Gandhi interacted with the
children of the family and gave them some chocolates. He asked about their studies.
While giving a speech at a roadside meeting in Armoor town, Rahul Gandhi asked a woman her name. She replied that her name was Anita. Rahul Gandhi asked Anita, "Would you travel in RTC buses? "Yes," she replied.
"Well. I promise you that after the Congress party comes to power in Telangana, all women will get free travel facility in RTC buses," he said.
Youths in large numbers accompanied Rahul Gandhi on his Yatra. Many were busy videographing the speech of Rahul Gandhi in their mobile phones.
TPCC president Revanth Reddy, Uttam Reddy MP and other leaders were present during Rahul Gandhi’s interactions with the ordinary people along his way. The Vijaya Bheri bus yatra concluded on a colourful note.
