Panchayat Raj Minister K T Rama Rao on Tuesday assured to regularise the services of contract employees and do justice to outsourcing employees in Telangana.
The minister said that after releasing the diary of Telangana Gazetted Officers’ Association (TGO) at Ravindra Bharati on Tuesday. With regard to contract employees, the minister said that the government would fulfill the promise of regularising the services of employees by following the rule of reservation. “Please have faith in the government. We will fulfill the promise of regularising contract employees. Though there are a few issues in the case of outsourcing employees, the government will do justice to them also. Whether salaries need to be hiked or anything else, justice will be done by the government,” said K T Rama Rao.
Stating that many employees who took part in the Telangana
agitation had to go to Andhra Pradesh due to technical reasons, KTR added that all the Telangana employees would be brought back from Andhra and if needed supernumerary posts would be created to accommodate them.
He said that the situation of being friendly with employees had not changed and would not change. Regarding health cards, he said there were few issues with corporate hospitals. “The health minister has already held three meetings with the hospital. Swamy Goud (Council Chairman), Padma Rao (minister) and I will sit with the health minister again to sort out the issue,” said KTR.
He lauded employees for their fight for separate Telangana State stating that they were the source of inspiration for the movement. The Panchayat Raj minister said that because of the efforts of employees, Telangana agitation had reached new heights.
