Leading IT company Wipro has announced the establishment of a new IT Centre at Gopanpally, Financial District in Hyderabad. This was announced by the company during a meeting of Wipro Executive Chairman Rishad Premji with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy at Davos.

As part of its expansion plans, Wipro is setting up the new centre, which is expected to provide employment to 5000 persons directly and indirectly. The new Centre is expected



to be completed in two to three years.

“We are keen to work with the Telangana government for promoting new innovations and creating new opportunities,” Rishad Premji said, according to a press release shared by the Chief Minister’s Office.

Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu urged the Wipro management to support the Telangana government in skill development initiatives and the Young India Skills University.
