Woman Falls to Death from Terrace in Shalibanda

A 30-year-old woman succumbed to injuries after she slipped and fell from a terrace of the second floor of her house in Shalibanda on

Wedesday morning.

Amreen Fatima fell while trying to cross from the terrace of her house to the terrace of her sister’s house, police said.

Her cousin Mohammed Jameel, who heard her screaming, rushed her to a



private hospital where the doctors declared her dead, Shalibanda police said.

Police said that it was common for Amreen and her family members, as also for many in the locality, to cross terraces to reach their relatives’ houses.

Amreen’s body has been shifted to Osmania General Hospital for post mortem.
