Woman farmer leaves sunflower, jowar crop for birds to feed in Sangareddy

A woman farmer, who raised sunflower crop on her eight guntas of land at Bardipur in Jharasangam mandal, has left the crop for birds to feed.

The farmer, Golla Sunitha cultivated Bengal gram on 20 guntas of land and sunflower



on eight guntas. She also cultivated jowar as a mixed crop amid these two crops.

After seeing birds invading the crop for food quite frequently, Sunitha decided to leave the entire sunflower and jowar crop for them to feed on.
