Worker dies in wall collapse in Dulapally

A construction worker died after a compound wall of an under construction multi-storied building collapsed at Dulapally in Petbasheerabad on Friday late evening.

According to the police, the victim identified as Chennaiah (55), a resident of Kompally was working along with other workers at the construction site when the mishap occurred.

As per available information, the construction work at the site had recently begun.



Chennaiah was working near the newly constructed compound wall, when it suddenly collapsed and the bricks and motar fell on him.

Chennaiah suffered multiple grievous injuries and died on the spot. His co-workers rushed to his rescue, but Chennaiah had died by then.

The Petbasheerabad police are investigating. The police shifted the body to the Gandhi Hospital morgue for autopsy.
