The prestigious World Congress on Information Technology to begin this morning in Hyderabad today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the inaugural session of the three-day IT summit through a video link.
The World Information Technology and Services Alliance is organising Congress while the National Alliance of Software and Services Companies and the Telangana state Government are jointly hosting the prestigious event.
Over two-thousand delegates including heads of IT majors, visionaries, Government leaders and academia from 30 countries will
take part in the Congress being held for the first time in India. Over 150 global thought leaders will share their views during the Congress.
Sri Lankan premier Ranil Wickramasinghe, Union IT Minister Ravishankar Prasad and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao are among prominent speakers.
Artificial Intelligence base economy, Information age to Experience, Collaborative and Digital innovation, lessons for next Hegemony economy and Thinking Machines are some among the themes which the Congress will deliberate upon for next three days.
