Wrestling player Monica meets Asaduddin Owaisi at Darussalam

Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi president All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen and Hyderabad MP met with girls wrestling champion G Monica along with coach Srinivas yesterday at Darussalam and Barrister Owaisi gave best wishes to Monica. She was facing  hurdles to take part in the All India University games. 

Barrister Owaisi MP and Majlis president met with Sports Director Prof Satyanaraya, Osmania University and Vice Chancellor Prof Ravinder Yadav and speak with them and make ensure to include Monica in the Osmania University team from Telangana. After that Monica took part in the games in the All India University 160 teams



and gave a good performance and after that she get the opportunity to select on national level in Khelo India. 

In total 160 teams 8 have been selected for Khelo India. In which Monica is included. She belongs to a poor  family. Her father is an auto driver. Monica is getting training under coach Srinivas at Gangaputra Sangam, Sabzi Mandi located at Veera Abhimanyu Vyam Shala. It is likely Monica can take part in the university games at International level.
