Doctors at Yashoda Hospital have treated ‘lung attack’ successfully for the first time in India using Inari device.
Mali Rishikesh, a 20-year-old student from Karimnagar district, was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition after a blood clot formed in the pulmonary artery, the blood vessel that
carries oxygen-depleted blood from the heart to the lungs. The blood flow to the lungs was stopped due to a ‘“pulmonary embolism’.
For the first time in India, Yashoda Hospitals doctors removed the blood clots using a state-of-the-art medical device called ‘pulmonary thrombectomy’ and gave Rishikesh a new life.
