Youngest MIM candidate wins

Fahad Bin Samad Abdad, a final year civil engineering student at Deccan Engineering College who contested for the Uppuguda division won with 7,800 votes in the GHMC elections. 
The 21-year old, who contested on the ticket of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) is the son of



former corporator Samad Bin Abdad from the same division. 
As the father opted out of active politics this time, the party picked up his son Fahad though he does not have any political experience. He completed 21 years, the eligible age to contest the election, last October.
