Hyderabad: The newly constructed house of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in Hyderabad is now becoming a centre of controversy with the YSR CP questioning the rationale of the TDP supremo in constructing the house in Hyderabad when the State capital has been shifted to Amaravati.
Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, the party leader Bhumana Karnakar Reddy alleged that while the Andhra Pradesh government had not constructed a single house for weaker sections, Naidu built a palatial house in Hyderabad. “On earlier occasions, the TDP leaders have made a big issue
of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s residence. But now Chandrababu Naidu’s new house in Hyderabad is built with a huge amount of public money,’ Reddy alleged.
He questioned the veil of secrecy surrounding the new house in Hyderabad and alleged that while Naidu’s Jubilee Hills houses was refurnished, repairs were carried out at Lakeview Guest House, Serilingampalli farm house, two suites at a star hotel, Lingamaneni river front house in Vijayawada, camp office at Velagapudi and now a new house was constructed with public money while not a single house was built for weaker sections.
