In Canada, in a series of stabbings, 10 persons were killed and 15 injured in Saskatchewan province on Sunday. Canadian police is searching two suspects. The stabbings took place in multiple locations on the James Smith Cree Nation and in the village of Weldon, northeast of Saskatoon. Some of the victims appear to have been targeted by the suspects but others appear to have
been attacked at random. There are 13 crime scenes where either deceased or injured people were found.
Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe has issued a statement describing the attacks as "senseless violence". He said there are no words to adequately describe the pain and loss caused by this senseless violence.
