120 terrorists killed in a joint operation by Nigerien-French troops

In Niger, 120 terrorists were killed in a joint operation by Nigerien and French troops in the southwest part of the country.

The country's defence ministry in a statement yesterday said, bomb-making equipment and vehicles were



also seized in the operation in the vast Tillaberi region near the border with Mali and Burkina Faso.

It added that there had been no losses among Nigerien or French troops.
