In Tajikistan, at least 15 armed IS terrorists were killed by security forces on Wednesday when a group of terrorists attacked a checkpost on country's border with Uzbekistan.
The State Committee for National Security of Tajikistan said, a Tajik border guard and a policeman also died in the shootout.
Five of the terrorists were captured after the
attack, which took place 60km south-west of the Tajik capital Dushanbe.
The terrorists illegally crossed the border from Afghanistan on Sunday.
The attack came a day after Tajikistan and Uzbekistan reportedly agreed to settle a long-running border dispute, with the aim of signing a deal before the end of the year.
