A UN agency said, the number could grow as search and rescue operations are going on and over 600 people remain missing after heavy rain lashed the Sierra Leonean capital Freetown on

United Nations Children's Fund, UNICEF, said that the magnitude of the damage is unprecedented and many children have been left homeless, terrified and vulnerable. Families have crowded at the local morgue to identify the victims. Those who cannot be identified will be buried in mass graves.
