Jeddah: The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has gifted more than 30,000 copies of the Holy Qur’an to visitors of the Grand Mosque since the beginning of Ramadan.
The copies, published at the Madinah-based King Fahd Glorious Qur’an Printing Complex, are a gift from King Salman to the visitors of the Grand Mosque.
According to Ghazi Al-Thubyani, director of the Qur’an copies affairs department at the presidency, the distribution comes as
part of the “Qur’an Copy for Every Visitor” program.
Al-Thubyani said the gift comes in implementation of the directives of Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, the presidency’s chief, and his deputy for guidance affairs, Badr bin Abdullah Al-Furaih.
Al-Thubyani added that the gifting of the Qur’ans is part of the presidency’s efforts to provide the pilgrims to the Grand Mosque with the finest possible services.
