Four people were killed after a Romanian helicopter crashed yesterday in Moldova, Romania's interior ministry has confirmed. According to the ministry, the Romanian medevac helicopter crashed at Haragas, 120 kilometers northeast of Moldova's capital Chisinau. A pilot, a copilot, a doctor and a nurse were
aboard the helicopter, which was operated by the SMURD emergency rescue service based in Romania. The helicopter was on its way to Cahul to pick up a patient from there to Chisinau. According to media reports there was thick fog when the accident happened. The helicopter crashed in a forest and caught fire.
