43 police officers killed in bus crash in Argentina

In Argentina, 43 police officers were killed when their bus fell off a bridge into a dry riverbed yesterday. The bus was carrying 51 people when it came off the road and fell about 20 metres into a riverbed in northern province of Salta

A local police statement said there were indications that one of the bus tyres had burst and caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle. Authorities said, eight people have been rescued and hospitalised.
