4.6 magnitude earthquake hits eastern Japan

An earthquake measuring 4.6 on Richter scale shook eastern Japan today. According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the epicentre of the quake, was north of Tokyo in Saitama

prefecture.

The quake was measured at a depth of 50 km. No tsunami warning has been issued and there is no immediate reports of damage.
