5 reasons The Kapil Sharma Show is doomed to die a sad death

The Kapil Sharma Show is in bad shape right now. Not only the flavour of the show is gone after the core team's exit, of late the lack of quality ideas is also affecting the show adversely. The comedy show that has been quite popular on Youtube also, is seeing more dislikes than likes, and its Youtube views too have fallen sharply (from 12,396,609 to 3,221,748).
While the show will complete a year in April this year, we feel it will not be able to sustain for long. Here are five reasons.
1. Absence of core team: Sunil Grover and Co. were supposed to shoot last night for The Kapil Sharma Show. But they continued to boycott the show. In fact, Sunil was in Film City yesterday shooting for Indian Idol grand finale, but he did not shoot for TKSS--even though he's bound by his contract. With no Sunil, Chandan, Ali and Sugandha, the show cannot continue for long.
2. Low ratings: For the longest time, The Kapil Sharma Show refused to budge from No. 2 spot (according to BARC ratings. But since the last three weeks, the show's ratings are witnessing a downward trend. The show saw the first sharp decline in impressions from 7.1 million to 6.4 million in March 9 data, and we thought it was temporary. However, the next week, the show's



numbers dipped to 6 million and the reality show was placed on No. 7 position, down from its usual second or third position.
However, the worst was yet to come. According to latest BARC data, the show is not even in Top 10, and has garnered the impressions of 5.3 million. We have a feeling that the episode starring Raju Srivastava, Ahsaan Qureshi, Sunil Pal will be even worse and the show's numbers will fall further.
3. Exit of Preeti Simoes: The creative director of The Kapil Sharma Show--Preeti Simoes has also taken a break post the fight, after deleting her Twitter account. She has confirmed that she's taking a break from TKSS. With no creative inputs from Preeti, how will the show make people laugh? Kapil definitely can't do everything on his own.
4. Kapil's attitude: According to reports, Kapil's apology was made just on the behest of the channel, and he did not really feel any remorse. A few days after the incident, he was spotted partying with his Firangi co-stars. He will lose all his friends, if doesn't change his attitude.
5. Lack of new ideas: It is not just the fight that has affected TKSS' TRPs, it is also the dearth of good ideas that's ailing the show. Now that Kapil has lost all his key people, how will the ideas come?
