In Brazil, seven people were killed and around 150 people are missing after a dam collapsed yesterday near the city of Belo Horizonte.
The officials said that death toll is expected to rise as the rescue team is still continuing its operation.
The disaster unleashed a torrent of mud towards the town of Brumadinho
making it difficult for rescuers to access. Helicopters are used to rescue numerous people trapped in the mud at various spots.
The river of mud cut a swath across roads and through vegetation and farmland, damaging and destroying houses.
