730 pupils evacuated from RAK school

Dubai: Students from a public girl’s school were quickly evacuated form school on Thursday due to a faulty air conditioning unit.
Up to 730 pupils were attending the elementary school, located in Al Dhait area.
Brigadier General Mohammad Abdullah Al Zaabi Director General of Ras Al Khaimah Civil said that initial emergency call



reported a foul stench from one of the air conditioning units.
A team of firefighters and fire engines were dispatched to the school and immediately evacuated the pupils, who were all safe.
No injuries were reported.
The evacuation plan, according to Bir Gen Al Zaabi, was carried out with the coordination of various government bodies
